Things to do that are special to us around NYC.
Difara makes amazing pizza. Going to Difara is an experience in and of itself, mainly because you can wait for close to two hours for your pie. You can BOYB and watch the pizza genius work his magic. Once you get your pizza, you will realized that waiting was the right choice.
Spumoni Gardens also makes amazing pizza. You could call this place a pizza factory. Located in the Gravesend section of Brooklyn, Spumoni Gardens has been family owned and operated since 1938. It was featured on Man Vs. Food, as if we need that guy to tell us the pizza is incredible! Take a ride out to Spumoni Gardens and try their sicilian pie.
Toby's Public House is a great place to have wood oven specialty pies (the tartufata, spinach, and spicy pecorino are some of our favorites) and a lovely glass of wine, pint of beer, or cocktail. It is a place for friends who love pizza. You can also purchase home made beef jerky from behind the bar.

We love Littleneck! Great place to get some oysters and a lobster roll if you are feeling fishy.
One of our new favorite places. Menu is heavy on the steaks but dont skip over the mussles or truffle mac & cheese
We went to No. 7 on our first dinner date. Go there and get sentimental for us.
You can get a pint of a serioulsy obscure craft beer here as well as a delicious burger.
This place has delicious sandwiches to go with their extensive craft beer and cider selection. Get a table out back if you can.
Marshall Stack is a special place for us. We meet here after Matt gets his hair cut down the block. And the have a pretty good selection of craft beers usually.
You can wander into UCB on any night and you might be lucky enough to catch Amy Poehler or Horatio Sanz for a guest appearance. UCB is always a good time!
